From Deputy City Manager LaShon Ross..."Following a very collaborative effort, Sam Greif (Fort Worth Fire Department) has been selected to join the City of Plano as Fire Chief and will step into his new role on August 3, 2015. Transitioning from thirty (30) years of service with Fort Worth will take time; so, Chief Greif will begin meeting with Plano staff and acquainting himself with our processes. He and I are scheduled to meet this week, and he will have a regular presence in Plano between now and August 3." Congratulations Chief Greif and welcome to Plano!

As part of National EMS Week, we would like to remind you about how simple it is for a child drowning to occur. It is also simple to prevent. Supervising children in or near the water is crucial.
