Specializing in pre-1940's pocket watch repair, cleaning and restoration. And the occasional mechanical wrist watch.
My name is David Edick and I am an independent professional who provides quality watch service. All repairs are estimated individually and are free of charge and all repairs performed have a 6 month warranty. If your watch is fully operational and you are just looking for a cleaning, I charge a $35 flat rate to fully disassemble and clean all parts, and then oil all moving parts. I will also check the mainspring and suggest a replacement if need be for $25. Crystal replacement is $20. I only stock mineral glass, so plastic and acrylic need to be asked for specifically and special ordered. Return shipping is always free. This is not a full time job for me as I am the manager of Camera Repair Service Inc. located in downtown Pittsburgh so I am best reached via email. But that does also mean that watches can be dropped off to me in person if you alert me ahead of time. I would like to thank Eddie (Owner of Banner Coin Exchange, also located downtown) for helping get my start into this profession by providing me with non-working watch movements to hone my skills.
