Description

The Clinic advises on employment law. It should be able to help with most concerns about the rights and obligations existing between an employee and his or her employer. This will include: Discrimination issues: Sex, gender reassignment, race, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation or age. Status issues: Identifying an employee or statutory worker. Identifying the appropriate employer, where the undertaking has been transferred. Contract issues: National minimum wage and other individual disputes over wages and other contractual terms. Dismissal claims: Dismissal without notice. Redundancy payment claims. Unfair dismissal, including constructive dismissal. The Clinic does not advise on state benefits, accident at work claims, equal pay claims and where the University is the employer.
