Here at Poseidon Swim School we pride ourselves in providing high quality swimming tuition for all ages and abilities. For the past 20 years we have been running our small family business from home and our numbers have expanded to over 2,500 pupils. Our constantly evolving business and team has grown to over 25 members of fully qualified, trained and police checked staff. Not only are our staff trained to instruct swimming to a very high standard, but are trained to provide a safe and enjoyable learning experience for their pupils. Our Instructors are fully qualified with the Swimming Teachers Association or the Amateur Swimming Association. Instructors who qualified with the A.S.A. are also members of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches. Many of our Instructors have undertaken further specialist training to improve their knowledge of instructing disabled and special needs pupils. What do we offer? - A small ratio of 1 teacher to 4 pupils in each class - A thoughtful, caring and fully qualified instructor trained to plan and achieve goals for you or your child. - Individual teaching: Although each pupil will be in a class with three others, the way in which they learn as an individual is always taken into consideration. - Specialist teachers to accommodate special needs pupils - Teachers remain in the water with pupils until they are ready to be instructed from the poolside - Summer Crash Courses in swimming, diving, snorkeling and personal survival!
