Hi everyone! I have spent some time out at Turkey Mountain this morning. Unfortunately, because of the torrential rains we have been experiencing, the trails and the commons area out by the pavilion are a mud pit. After doing some walking around, I just don't think these conditions will be good for our scheduled Climb Out of Darkness Hike/Climb tomorrow. Because we want everyone to ENJOY the hike and be as safe as possible, we are going to reschedule to a later date - probably sometime in early Fall when the trees are beautiful and when there is no humidity, mud slides or mosquitoes. I am so sorry for any dissapointment! When we determine a new definite date for our climb, we will post it here. Stay tuned and enjoy your weekend!
