Furniture restoration and recycling of any kind is very close to my heart so to be able to do something I love by keeping something in the market place, and out of landfill brings me great pleasure. I look to buy pieces which would blossom and show off its true beauty by the addition of chalk paints and waxes. Each piece is carefully chosen,cleaned,painted,sanded, waxed and distressed by hand to ensure the piece will not only look beautiful but will last for years to come. Shabby chic is a form of design where furniture are either chosen for their appearance of age and signs of wear and tear or where new items are distressed to achieve the appearance of an antique. At the same time, a soft, well loved but cottage-style decor, is what set it apart from genuine period pieces. All our items are carefully hand painted and may show the odd brushstroke or colour variation in paint As with any previously owned piece of furniture there may be the odd bump or mark that comes with age, so please only bid if you like this style of furniture. If you're looking for a brand new item this is not be for you. If like me you adore pre loved vintage pieces with character then this may be perfect If you are looking for perfection then maybe this is not the style of furniture for you,but if you are looking for perfect imperfection lovingly restored then this may just be for you. We can also revamp and upcycle your own pieces and can also arrange to restore pieces in your own home Please just inbox us for a quote. Please note I am fully insured and it is these incidentals that have to be considered when pricing items but I try to ensure that all prices are reasonable and fair at all times We use only Annie Sloan and Authentico chalk paints and waxes I travel many miles near and far to source the items I sell and if there is something specific you would like me to look for please ask.
