Certified Nursing Aides can be found in nursing homes, hospitals, adult day health centers, assisted living facilities, and private homes meeting personal care needs. CNAs are at the heart of the health care industry. Premier offers a 5 week Nurse Aide training course to jumpstart your career in health care. The curriculum at Premier meets all required guidelines set forth by the Federal Government and the State of Indiana. Upon completion of the 105 hour (30 classroom hours and 75 clinical hours) program each student is eligible to sit for the Indiana State CNA competency examination. Our evening classes and day clinicals schedule still enables you to work while attending our training program and all Clinicals are held at nursing home or assisted living facilities in Fort Wayne. Choose from 2 program options: • Nurse Aide Training • Nurse Aide Training with Home Health Aide Bridge Fees include all curriculum materials, State testing fees, limited criminal background check, TB skin test, physical exam, and drug screen. Admission requirements: • High school graduate, or recipient of the General Educational Development (GED) or Indiana High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma credential • Age 18 or older • Submit a completed Application Form • Complete and pass an a basic reading, mathematics, and language assessment • Interview with the Program Director • Submit a completed Enrollment Registration
