Building hope for boys without families and families without homes. Since 1988, Project Mexico has been involving young people in the alleviation of suffering by building homes for Mexico's poor. Hundreds of homes have been built for needy families with the help of nearly 10,000 volunteers. In 1996 our outreach expanded through the opening of St. Innocent Orthodox Orphanage in Tijuana which provides a home for teenage boys who live on the streets or who have been put out of other orphanages. Check our postings to get involved with Project Mexico.

On this blessed Holy Thursday we give thanks for our local San Diego friends who have helped with our Pascha preparations. Thank you so much Debbie, Marshall, Sheryl, and Carl for your generosity and support! Blessed Pascha to all!
Together we shouted, Hosanna in the highest! It was a blessed Palm Sunday for all of us and we especially enjoyed visiting with old friends :). Blessed Holy Monday!
From our family to yours, we wish you all a blessed Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday, as we walk towards our Lord's Passion and Resurrection. Good strength!
Our boys have been in a giving mood lately! Valentin hand-painted a beautiful pillow of Frida Kahlo for Madi. Jose de Jesus changed Charity's tire for her in the rain. And, Moises braided Presbytera Merilynn's hair after church. Thank God our young men are learning to care for the women in their lives!
Our Founder, Greg Yova, developed a new technology for capturing, processing, and sending video to large numbers of people. It was proven successful at the world’s busiest border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico (BorderTraffic.com) and now is being marketed worldwide. The company was started with a couple of the older boys of St. Innocent Orphanage and is set up so that a fair portion of the profits are designated for Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage (www.ProjectMexico.org). Just recently, Greg’s company put up a new website in the United Kingdom that may be of interest to some of you or people you know in the United Kingdom. LiveTrafficUK.com shows updated video of nearly all the major roads in London. It’s super helpful for understanding traffic and travel options; you can actually see for yourself what’s happening and make choices accordingly. We want to share the news about the site, www.LiveTrafficUK.com, so it can be put to use if you travel in or around London. Feel free to recommend it to anyone who might also find it helpful. It would be considered a favor if you pass the website along to your friends, family, work associates, etc., since a fair portion of the profits will benefit our ministry. Thank you for your consideration! P.S. - “Liking” the Live Traffic UK Facebook page, https://business.facebook.com/LiveTrafficLondon/, will also help get the word out.
The boys went on an overnight camping trip during their Spring Break. They fished for crawdads, explored hot springs, sang Lenten church hymns, and made fire-grilled quesadillas! We thank God for the great blessing of being able to live and grow together in Christ, amidst the calmness of nature.
