Binkeez for Comfort
159 Memorial Drive, Suite B Shrewsbury , MA 01545 United States

For more information or to contact BFC to request a Binkeez blanket, please go to our website http://www.binkeezforcomfort.org STORY OF COMFORT Sue and her mother, Lynne, have been making blankets for many years. Creativity, imagination and innovation have always been an integral part of the spirit in making these blankets. This spirit also contains the memory of Lynne’s mother, and Susan’s grandmother, who started this family tradition as being a seamstress during WWII and throughout her life. Babies and children are also an integral part of the spirit in making these blankets. Aside from the memories of Lynne’s own children snuggling with their blankets at bedtime, naptime and when traveling, blankets have always conveyed a universal language of comfort. Over the years they used to personally donate these blankets to those who have not been given the gift of good health to impoverished children, NICUs, and children’s charitable foundations. Several years later, Susan decided to continue a new tradition with Binkeez in the formal process of converting to a 501c3 non-profit to bring comfort to others that have not been given the gift of good health by designing and donating blankets for all ages of life that were in need of comfort when in patient in a hospital, nursing home or hospice setting through this non profit.
