Description

Project Silk is an innovative program directed towards men who have sex with men and transgender individuals between the ages of 13 to 29 in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area. The project consists of: Providing a safer space for LGBT youth of color. Linking young people to: * Medical care * Housing and shelter * Mental health and substance use counseling * Education Assistance * Job Readiness assistance * Dental Care * Hormone Treatment * Legal services * Leadership training Providing space for artistic expression and support for young men and transgender women of color in the pursuit of their authentic selves Come and chill, relax, get involved, ask questions, seek and receive services, lend your voice and empower yourself and your community to make Pittsburgh a place we can all call our own.
