Located in the Dallas Arts District at One Arts Plaza, Proof + Pantry is a multi-faceted American restaurant and bar featuring progressive, yet approachable American fare along with a diverse and original bar program. Proof + Pantry offers both simplicity and sophistication, focusing on clean flavors, impeccably sourced ingredients and inspiration from seasonality and global cuisine. Led by James Beard nominated barman and Proof + Pantry co-founder Michael Martensen, Proof + Pantry’s drink menu will feature a collection of carefully selected spirits and wine showcasing the restaurant’s dedication to quality, diversity and originality. Dishes will range from $10 to $30 with additional market priced selections, and drinks will be offered for $8 to $15. The 1900-square-feet space in One Arts Plaza, formerly The Greek and The Commissary, is in development by Misery Loves Company, LLC (Misery Loves Co.) a concept development, management and operations company co-founded by Sal Jafar II, co-founder of Driftwood in Bishop Arts, and Michael Martensen, formerly of The Cedars Social and Smyth. With design by Breckinridge Taylor and Café Build, the Proof + Pantry atmosphere is comfortable and warm, while interactive and engaging. The space draws influence from an industrial rustic pantry lined with shelving, rusted metals, distressed wood accents and tile. With a prime location in One Arts Plaza, Proof + Pantry offers beautiful downtown and Arts District views from its large patio.
