PROWUS – Portland Rock on With Us – is a non-profit organization that provides grants for music students age 8 – 18 and supports the childrens’ rock and roll performance community. This grant fund is built with proceeds from merchandise sales and fundraising events. Each grant is disbursed as a one-time check. Amounts awarded are determined by dollars available in the fund at the time, and by number of applicants. Students can reapply for grants each season according to the guidelines on the instruction sheet located on the GRANT INFO page. PROWUS is operated by a volunteer board of parents who have connections to the music community.
