Working in Public Health is about trying to make a difference. Exploring the health of whole populations allows us to examine the factors that affect health and well-being including social, environmental, cultural, economic, political and structural factors. These are the social determinants of health, which are central to improving health and reducing inequalities in health. The Master of Public Health at the University of Tasmania is a fully online postgraduate course. Online delivery allows this course to be accessible to anyone in Australia, or internationally.
