Description

I am Jon Pun, an Automotive Instructor, I am currently teaching the Engine Repair, Brakes, Suspension and Steering Classes at Abram Friedman Occupational Center a career training school in down town Los Angeles. In the Brakes Class, I will teach you the fundamentals of the Brake System, The Hydraulic Systems, Disc Brakes, Drums Brakes, Parking Brakes, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS). You will learn to troubleshoot to properly diagnose problems in each of these systems and repair them according with manufacturer’s specifications. In the Suspension and Steering Class, I will teach you the Fundamentals of the Suspension System and the Fundamentals of the Steering System, You will learn about Conventional Suspension, McPherson Strut Suspension, Parallelogram Steering System, Power Steering, Rack-and-pinion Steering, Front-wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive, Electronic Suspension Controls, Electronic Steering Control and Wheel Alignment. You will learn to Troubleshoot to properly diagnose problems in the suspension and steering systems and repair them according to manufacturer’s specification. Enrolling in the Engine Repair, Brakes, Suspension and Steering classes will prepare you for industry certification the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exam for A4 Suspension, Steering, and A5 Brakes. You will learn to analyze and understand the ASE-Type questions. I will provide you with study guides and practice tests to help you become an ASE Certified Technician. Upon completion of automotive class, you will receive a certificate of completion. I will teach you necessary skills and provide you career training to prepare you for entry level jobs in the automotive field, also assisting you with resume preparation through our job placement department.
