Founded in 1974, the Fine Art (Visual Art) Program at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, is an undergraduate visual arts program that emphasizes multidisciplinary studio practice and theory. As a direct entry program, students begin their studio practice right from first-year. Throughout the Program, students study painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, and time-based media. By fourth year, students specialize in a medium, or media, of their choice. This unique multidisciplinary approach allows Queen's Fine Art (Visual Art) students to graduate with a professional understanding of all media.
