Whether you're looking for a spotter, and running partner, a belayer, a yoga buddy, or someone who can give you high-fives after every set, QLH&F has got you covered.
We strive to create a positive and collegial space in which to discuss or engage in any activities you are interested in to help Queen's Law students actively grow and develop.

While studying the law we tend to spend most of the day seated. QLH&F values activity in all forms because we believe a break from the books can be tremendously beneficial for both our physical and mental well-being. Although an open term, activity means any form that is beneficial to the health and body of the individual, be it running, working out, yoga, et cetera.
QLH&F disregards superficial standards of body image; instead we accept and embrace the diversity that comes with positive body image. Regardless of how someone looks or feels, we believe that everyone can benefit from exercise and nutrition, thus we welcome both novices and experts alike. QLH&F also provides an open forum for questions regarding any activity for any level of individual, with an atmosphere to educate and excite, rather than dismiss.
Queen’s is known for its strong community, this is doubly true at Queen’s Law. QLH&F exists to further broaden collegiality at the law school. We will do this by including discussions of different types of activity and exercise, sharing ideas or personal accomplishments, and other such things to encourage and unite the members of QLH&F to feel comfortable with whatever activity they are engaged in.
