Description

Queen’s South Asian Association is an association of Queen’s University students from or with interest in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. It is a non-political, non-religious organization that concerns itself with some of the popular cultural activities from the region. Our Goal is to foster international understanding among the students of Queen’s University as well as Kingston community about South Asian cultures, heritages, and events. Moreover, to provide opportunities for students to engage in South Asian cultural activities in an interactive and respectful environment. (Please be assured that QSAA is in no way exclusive and you are welcome to join even if you are affiliated with other groups, or don’t have a South Asian background.)
