I am a great stylist with over 13 years experience, lucky enough to rent a space at the beautiful CHELSEA Salon on 21st & SE Belmont.

Rachel recently re-located from Austin, Texas, where she worked as lead stylist for 6 years, With her unique love for styling hair, served up with a dose of down-home hospitality, you will love sitting in her chair while she taps into your inner pin-up girl, beach surf goddess (or god), glamorous old Hollywood diva, or long, lost member of the rat pack. She can execute color, cuts and styling to match any personality or special event, while bringing out the best in your natural hair. Rachel begin her training at a beautiful Aveda salon in 2002 where she mentored under several master stylists where she learned the importance of cultivating a strong relationship with each client. She will take the time to listen to you. Through getting to know you individually (your hair goals, past frustrations, lifestyle and styling skills), she will offer fresh ideas and teach you how to get the most out of your hair. It is through these skills, matched by her warm, inclusive nature, that she has built a loyal following wherever she has worked. She is a Northwest girl at heart, but don't be surprised if you catch her in cowboy boots letting a "y'all" slip out every now and then. If she's not in the salon, you can probably catch her hiking with her dog, camping at a music festival in the mountains, or playing an open mic night around town. Rachel is serious about the business of living and loving. You'll leave her chair feeling beautiful, recharged and ready to experience your own life with your best self forward!
