Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. that serves as the national voice for more than 160,000 members and supporters, more than 1,600 rail-trails throughout the country, and more than 19,000 miles of trail on the ground. Since 1986, we have supported the tremendous growth and development of rail-trails. Today, we continue to dedicate ourselves to the creation of a nationwide network of trails, and further, to commit to a future made better by trails and the connections they inspire.
