Based in Orange County, California, I’m Geeta Randery (previously Geeta Patel)… a photographer who lives & breaths THE CRAFT! I’m also a vegetarian and I like to think I’m a pretty decent cook, a diligent organizer, and a proponent of positive energy… except when I’m busy watching reality TV of course. I adore the simplicities in life… Chai, Yoga, my iMac, and my humble abode I call HOME! However, everything aside, what I cherish the most is spending each day with Manish, my best friend & husband. Lucky for me, Manish and I are a husband & wife photography team… so I don’t have to look very far when I need the support, a 2nd photographer, or just someone to lean on. Since childhood, I’ve always been intrigued by the art of photography, so I knew pursuing this craft was always deep rooted within me. So after spending 7+ years in corporate america with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then my father suddenly passing, I realized just how precious and short life really was. Confucius said it best…”Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I took the risk…and with Manish’s support, I can happily say I haven’t looked back. I’ve evolved, into consuming myself with creating, directing & envisioning. So now when I’m asked what I do for a living, I tell people “I capture images, I make art, and I deliver keepsakes!” My desire is to capture the highlights, elements that bring out the brightest, and lock them in for an eternal memento.
