In 2002, FVT PRODUCTIONS LLC was created with one mission, to create events for our community with the most requested DJs, Producers Remixers and performing artists while showcasing up and coming new talent to give them the break they needed, similar to the break given to the promoter immediately after graduating the University of La Verne. Francisco Tolentino started his event promotions career under the wings of DJ Paul E. Sigmund, founder of VARSITY @ RAGE in West Hollywood. After graduating college, Francisco started his internship and immediately befriended one of the entertainment financers in the business, Jim Murphy, of Clear Channel Entertainment. On November 2, 2002, Francisco produced and promoted his very first event, ICE AFTERHOURS, under the name Frank Tolentino Presents. Using the world famous Palace Nightclub (Now The AVALON) as his launch pad, and booking DJs Joe Gauthreaux & Dawna Montel, over 1000 Hollywood Club Goers attended until 9am! Francisco worked with up and coming DJs of that era, who have become internationally known today, some of which include DJ Alexander and DJ Dan De Leon. Over the years, Francisco continued his ICE brand and created a T dance called, ICE-T. It was in no time that ICE events were being produced in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and in Miami. In 2006, Francisco took a hiatus from producing as the club scene started to dwindle down with the creation of online meeting sites and later mobile apps that basically killed the numbers of the ever so popular club scene. It wasn't until 2014 that Francisco dusted off his promoting pumps and started again with events here and there. In 2016, RAUNCH was launched in San Diego as 10-2am event, but something wasn't right... The sound, the nitch, the crowd wasn't the crowd that appreciated the sound normally produced by his events... but then it happened... AFTERHOURS in SAN FRANCISCO! An opportunity just like in 2002 was presented to Francisco, an opportunity too good to pass up... What was previously known as the BEATBOX in SF was sold during the summer of 2016 and within the last month, it has reopened as San Francisco's Newest Premier Nightclub, called HALCYON and Francisco Tolentino Presents is proud to announce his partnership with the venue, hosting events for our community, bringing RAUNCH AFTERHOURS in December and launching a new Sunday T-Dance in 2017!
