Description

Since 1924, the REIA has worked to represent the real estate sector on a range of varied and important issues. REIA has an excellent reputation as the most credible source of knowledge and considered opinion regarding the commercial and residential property markets in Australia. REIA has seven members, these members are the state and territory Real Estate Institutes, through which about 80 per cent of real estate firms and licensed agents are collectively represented. The work of the REIA is carried out by the CEO and an experienced management team with the necessary knowledge and qualifications to put the strategic direction of the REIA into practice. REIA is a politically non-aligned organisation that provides research and well-informed advice to the Federal Government, Opposition, members of the real estate profession, media and the public on a range of issues affecting the property market.
