Rebel Soul Rising was born in the backyard of a little cottage by the sea, on the blissful island of Tasmania, Australia, by a vagabond mermaid named Gypsy. With a father who was a free spirited fisherman, a ‘rock n roll’ step-dad, & a mumma bear who is artistic and was once a flower child of the 70s, these lifestyle qualities soon influenced Gypsy from an early age. Immersing herself in all areas of design, art, music and style - her mind & soul runs wild and free with creativity. Her visual art is inspired by the desire of freedom, being a rebellion and living an authentic life. An old soul she is completely spellbound to eras before her time, with Rebel Soul Rising being an enlightened label, thriving on all aspects of the 1960s Bohemian Surf Culture. RSR is created for hot summer nights & lazy Sundays. Cold beers, and whisky tales around campfires. Salty turquoise coastlines, and golden desert highway roadtrip escapes. Vibing to the sweet sounds of Jimi Hendrix, and Iggy Pop and being captavated by the mind warping tales from Jim Morrison and The Doors.
