People into work. Bikes into the community.
Recyke-a-bike is a community interest project that aims to help more people into work and get more people in the community cycling. We provide training and work placements at our bicycle recycling centre where we recondition unwanted bikes to REVOLVE accredited standard for resale at affordable prices. We also provide a variety of outreach services from Bikeability training in schools to Dr Bike and cycle commuting skills. We are also the local Cycle Friendly Employer service centre and can help organisations achieve their award. We work with a range of partners and are open to new projects and partnerships that fit with our aims of employability, environmental protection and healthy lifestyles.
