Description

The Complete Skin Check Staff will provide you with a private area to undress to your underwear. You will be given a sheet and asked to lie face up on the couch with the sheet over you. The clinic can provide a chaperone for you if wanted. The doctor will examine you from head to toe usually starting with your face. Please don't wear make-up to your skin check, it hides things. If the doctor finds any concerning lesions, these can usually be sampled for the lab (biopsied) at the skin check visit. No referrals required. Circumcision We do circumcisions of all ages to adults under a local anesthetic. For children over the age of 3 months we use the topical cream LMX to help numb the area before the injections. We have found great satisfaction with the method and are always looking at small ways to improve it. Vasectomy's At our practice the patient is awake throughout the procedure. Pain relief is via local anesthetic. We use the "no scalpel" method(nsv). This method gives a smaller skin puncture and therefore less complications. Two to three centimeters of tube are removed from each side. The top ends of the tubes are cauterized and the bottom ends are left open. Cosmetic procedures. Any removal of 'non skin cancers' are considered a cosmetic procedure. We offer treatment or removal of cosmetic blemishes including non-cancerous moles, skin tags, lumps and bumps including epidermoid cysts and spider veins.
