My name is Phil. I’m a 27 years old, 6'5", 190 lbs. average Joe with two perfect kids and amazing girlfriend (sorry ladies). You could consider me blessed, lucky, fortunate and you would be correct. After a seven year interest with policing and community my life changed. I have always led an active lifestyle and tried my best to stay fit and eat healthy, but unfortunately we all are bombarded with temptation and served processed and genetically modified food daily. Even still, I always maintained a healthy weight. On November 17, 2014. I went to work and it was just like any other day. My co-worker and I just finished our work at a customer’s house and were on our way to the next job. En route I experienced my first full body seizure with the most intense pain through out the left side of my body. With every nerve firing and my co-worker in shock, I mustered up enough strength to tell him 911 before everything went dark. I woke up in the ambulance out side the hospital confused and exhausted. After a CT scan, the doctor crushed my world “you have a brain tumour”. Transferred to another hospital, the MRI and biopsy proved that I had two brain tumours. The craniotomy was in one week to remove them. Unfortunately, only one could be removed due to the location and depth of the other tumour. The pressure on my primary motor functions caused many symptoms for me and made recovery difficult. Three weeks later I was released from the hospital and began my recovery at home. I wish I could say it was easy. The pain and list of symptoms increased daily. Weeks later my symptoms where finally under control to where I could live a “normal” life. Weeks past laying around, eating and eating and just eating feeling sorry for myself. Getting bigger and sicker. Falling for all my vices - pizza, cheeseburgers, spaghetti, candy, chips, ice cream, mocha frappuccinos. I found comfort in food. Like an addict, I couldn’t get enough. I would get my fix but with short term satisfaction. Weeks past, I’m getting bigger and bigger. It starts bringing my mood down and making me feel like garbage. Something has to change, I cant live this way. Fifteen treatments into my radiation I reach up my hair falls out into my hand. My heart sinks and as quick as that, I get every symptom and back to a world of pain. Enough is enough. I go online to do some research. Juicing? Yeah, people juicing loosing weight -full of energy, fighting and reversing disease. Interesting enough for me to want to try a detox. Its February 10th, 2015 - in 21 one days I start chemotherapy. I decided that I need to be healthy and strong, incase I get symptoms from chemo. I dedicate myself to 20 day detox or my healthy weight of 190 lbs. I start my detox at a weight of 223 lbs. and enjoy a final steak dinner (of course). The first two days were tough, I had cravings like any food lover. But I had something stronger - support! Family, friends, love. That got me to my third day and I felt great! Weight's coming off and I have now completed my 30th radiation treatment! I am so exited to have a couple weeks off to regain strength and loose some weight - chemo is coming. one week in I feel so good, brand new, refit . ….Wait, refit? Yeah I feel refit! That night I had the most vivid dream of finally helping people and being involved in the community like the policing career that I always wanted. An opportunity to wake up every day and be proud of what I do. An opportunity to change people lives and help out my community. As I lie wake, staring at my ceiling for 4 hours thinking this dream over and over again, the more it repeats the more it makes sense. I have to do this, I have to share this refit detox! I start to plan. Its now 9 days in and I am 18.5 lbs. down. I feel brand new, like I never have before and it's all so easy. I have so much energy, no cravings, I don’t feel hungry and my body feels cleansed. It’s now 12 days in step on the scale…..200.5 lbs. My jaw drops and I’m in shock - I’m now down 22.5lbs! I’m ready to launch Refit Fusion and finally get to live out my dream to help people! Together we can. Have you “juiced” today?
