About Lauren: I'm a certified Shoden 'Komyo Reiki Kai' Practitioner who specializes in helping clients focus their breathe and attention back into the present moment. As a practitioner, I bring full acceptance and authenticity to each of my sessions. I truly believe that you are the healer in your own journey. I am here to introduce you to new healing tools, facilitate the healing process, and help create a space that is made just for you. I currently offer energy healing sessions that are guided by intuition whilst working towards gaining a stronger foundation in Shamanic healing practices. ----- Gushy details from my website: "I've always had the ability to empathize with those around me. I wasn't one of those children who saw angels and ghosts, but I did feel other people's pain that came through as physical sensations and/or emotional episodes. I didn't have imaginary friends, but I did have conversations with Orion's belt (this one I'm still trying to figure out) and I heard and felt things that I wasn't able to see with my own eyes. It wasn't until my mid-twenties when I realized that most people have these experiences as children, and unfortunately are conditioned to ignore them, ultimately resulting in losing these awesome yet mysterious abilities. Why haven't we ever gotten to the point where we could help the World with these abilities? Some of us have gotten to this point. We're what you would call Soul sisters and brothers, Mystics, Spiritual Healers, Intuitives. Another note: you're one of us; you just don't have time to figure out how to develop and use these abilities; abilities that are so far stretched from our usual five-senses required to navigate the modern world. But good news, we're in a cosmic transition that is causing you to redevelop some of these abilities naturally! Alright, back to business. I won't go into too much detail but I grew up in a psychologically and physically abusive home. There were great moments, but some super terrible moments as well. Because of this, I spent my days Daydreaming about flying over magical worlds or how I wanted my future to look; it was a world of escape for me. During the nights, my dreams always felt like James Cameron full-motion-pictures filled with bright colors and sensual characters. I was able to control most of my dreams: I've found myself solving problems in my dreams, being chased by men with knives almost as if it was a game to outsmart them, shape shifting into animals and other characters, helping other people transition into different worlds, flying over seas filled with mermaids. I'm not making any of this up, my dream world has always been the one I prefer. I never realized that my ability to navigate the Dream World was something I would eventually use in my healing work. This past year, I have gotten my Level I and II certifications as a Komyo Reiki Kai Practitioner. I'm enjoying the Reiki journey and learning so many new things with each client I get the honor to work with. Every healing is different, both in regards to what the client experiences as well as what I experience as the practitioner. When doing this type of work, you start to understand when Spirit is knocking at your door and telling you to look into something. As hard as I tried to keep my attention on only Reiki so as to hone my craft, I have gotten the message to delve deeper into the benefits of Shamanic healing practices so that I can begin offering services in deeper Soul Work and Karmic Healing. With that said, I welcome you to Reikila, a business I've created to provide you with spiritual inspiration and energy healing that helps you and me get closer to being in the moment, finding happiness, and navigating this crazy world one day at a time.
