I was born and raised in the Biddeford area, and I currently live on Union St. with my wife Sharon. I have three sons, Stephen, Christopher and Matthew. We also have a beautiful five-year old granddaughter, Brynn Elizabeth. I am proud to be an Eagle Scout. I graduated from St. Louis High School in 1968 where I was an All-State football player. I graduated from the University of Maine in 1972. I retired from teaching English at Sanford High School after 28 years. My wife Sharon retired last year having taught 41 years in Biddeford School System. I sold insurance in the Biddeford, Saco area for 13 years prior to becoming a teacher. My family and I are communicants of Good Shepherd Parish, and I taught CCD at St. Mary’s Parish . I served five years on the Maine State Board of Education, twenty-five years on the Biddeford Housing Authority Board of Directors and was a past president of the Biddeford Lions Club. I coached Pee Wee Football and Little League while my kids were growing up. My wife Sharon and I are members of Dutch Elm Golf Club.
