Rennie Grove Hospice Care is the new name for the charity formed in 2011 by Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and Grove House. www.renniegrove.org Rennie Grove Hospice Care believes that every local patient with advanced, progressive life-limiting illness should receive the care they need to live as fully as possible at home or wherever they choose to be, to the very end of their life. Our nurses and clinicians aim to give patients that choice by working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and seamless care for patients and their families at all stages of the illness. Alongside our 24-hour responsive Hospice at Home service, we offer Hertfordshire patients and their families access to specialist nurses, a Doctor and other clinicians in our Day Hospice and clinics at Grove House in St Albans, as well as further support at home through outreach services such as occupational therapy and home sitters. The founding charities that formed Rennie Grove Hospice Care have nearly half a century’s combined experience of caring for patients with cancer and other life-limiting illness and have supported more than 20,000 local families to date. We rely on your support for 85% of our £6.5 million annual running costs to keep giving patients and their families the care they need and the choice they deserve.
