Kristeen and Aisling- We wanted to offer safe and professional courses that were also regulated. With so many courses lacking in ongoing supervision and mentoring we set about designing our courses around 4 steps. This would allow graduates to feel confident to carry out treatments unsupervised. Step 1- The foundation course Step 2- E-Learning Step 3- Mentorship Step 4- Assessment With the Keogh report several years ago highlighting the need for better regulation and the new HIS regulation that comes into force in 2016 we wanted to support this as much as possible as “The safety” of patients is of paramount importance to our ethos. We want to deliver the best and most up to date training with excellent standards in place. This is why the ReNu Academy was formed and the rest is history….. WHO WE ARE Kristeen E Geddes and Aisling Hanley Fitzgerald are both passionate about medical aesthetics. We both run extremely busy clinics but our passion and drive to help others in the industry gave us the idea to form the academy together. What was just small talk several years ago is now put into place. WHAT WE DO Kristeen Geddes is a RGN NIP and Dr Aisling Hanley a Registered Dentist. Meet Our Team Kristeen Geddes RGN NIP BA BSc As Clinical Director of both ReNu Skin Clinic and ReNu Academy Kristeen Geddes is a fully qualified RGN NIP who specialises in medical aesthetics full time. She has over 9 years experience in her field and graduated in 2006 from Dundee University. Since launching ReNu Skin Clinic she has went on to complete advanced training in lip augmentation, cheek fillers, advanced toxin and much more. A member of the RCN/ASAP and SAVE FACE she also regularly attends international conferences and master classes on advanced aesthetic techniques and procedures. Her clinic was the first and the only clinic in Dundee to be awarded SAVE FACE excellence status. She has been trained by renowned plastic surgeon Mauricio De Maio and mastered the MD codes using them in her clinic on a daily basis. Kristeen also works full time within her extremely busy clinic whilst regularly writing journals for the JAN. Her extensive portfolio spans years and has been trained in products such as radiesse, sceptre and the MD codes by Mauricio De Maio. With her expertise in Botox, dermal fillers, laser and much more has gained her a loyal UK client base and been nominated as finalist as Best Clinic Scotland in the prestigious Aesthetics Awards. Dr Aisling Hanley BDS- Best Aesthetic Dentist 2015 Aisling graduated with a BDS from Dundee dental school in 1997. In 2010 Aisling began her career in facial aesthetics. Since then she has undergone extensive training with some of the best in the industry both nationally and internationally. Including Internationally renowned plastic surgeon Mauricio de maio, Aisling was one of the first practitioners in Scotland to be awarded the quality assurance mark from IHAS. Awarded to clinicians and that conform to very high standards. Aisling is committed to continual education in the field and is regularly invited to attend events organised by the top pharmacology companies, MERZ, galderma and Allergan. Aisling has finished Level 3 training with Merz in the use of Radiesse and can provide full face rejuvenation with a portfolio of products. Botox, HA fillers and Radiesse Aisling has also trained with Image skin care and has extensive knowledge of their products and treatments. Aisling is a member of the Association of Scottish aesthetic Practitioners and IAAFA.
