Greetings! Did you know that RES has some very well-used Lost and Found bins? They are located on the right side of the hallway as you head toward the cafeteria. These bins are sorted each month. If clothes (or jackets, hats, mittens, boots/shoes, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc.) are CLEARLY LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME, then items are reunited with students. Items that are not labeled will be displayed on tables just outside the front doors on the first Friday of each month. That's this week! Parents and children alike are encouraged to peruse the display, as this is the final chance before those items are donated. Last year RES donated many, many contractor bags full of unlabeled, unclaimed items! If your child has lost something particularly special/valuable and is having trouble finding it, please feel free to contact me and I will keep an eye out for it while sorting. Thank you, and don't forget to label... everything! Anne Peterson email@example.com or 434-7195
Our RES community continues to help the earth and support our local food shelf with all of the wonderful items you have been bringing in for us to TerraCycle! Please note that RES is no longer able to send in chip bags, or dairy packaging such as, yogurt containers or plastic or foil cheese packaging. We have updated the items RES can collect on the TerraCycle Tab on the RES website. Please check the list of items to see what you can send in to TerraCycle! Thank you!
