RISEとは？

RISE（ライズ）は、2003年2月23日に旗揚げされた打撃格闘技イベント。「RISE」の名称は、「Real Impact Sports Entertainment」の略であり、英単語「rise」の「昇る」という意味も掛けている。 旗揚げ時の名称は「R.I.S.E.」であったが、2009年5月31日の「RISE 55」からドットが外され「RISE」となった。 運営はRISEクリエーション株式会社が行っており、初代WMAF世界スーパーウェルター級王者の伊藤隆が代表を務めている。 現在、北海道・名古屋・福岡でもRISE公式戦やアマチュア大会「KAMINARIMON（カミナリモン）」も定期的に開催し、選手育成および競技人口拡大にも取り組んでいる。 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RISE (rise), the event was raising an army fighting shot on 23 February 2003.
