MAcmillan Coffee Morning. Thank you to all parents who supported this event last Friday. We raised a fantastic £186 for MacMillan, a very worthy cause.
Our Harvest celebration is on Thursday 22nd October. We will be singing songs, finding out more about Harvest and have a number of special visitors. Once again the Food Bank are coming in to talk to us and we would like to give them support to help this worthwhile cause. If you have any tins, packets, boxes, bottles or any other food items please bring them into school and pass into your child’s teacher. Please make sure all items are in date as the Food Bank are unable to take out of date items.

Time For Parents Do you ever wish you had more time to enjoy being with your children? Is getting them ready for school in the morning, sometimes a bit of a nightmare? Do you ever wonder why you think it’s only your children behaving like this? If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, then ‘Time for Parents’ is for you. Taking part will give you the chance to think about the joys and difficulties of being a dad or mum. Run by Patchwork Parenting, it consists of five weekly sessions. It’s absolutely free, and there will be coffee and plenty of chance to talk. Nobody will tell you what to do, but your expertise as a parent will be very useful to others! Festive Friday, 11th December The School Council have voted for a Festive Friday event to support the St Luke’s Hospice on Friday 11th December. Pupils will be able to wear their Christmas jumpers or any festive outfit for a silver coined donation in aid of St Luke’s.
Mufti - on Friday 18th December pupils will be able to wear mufti clothes for a donation to support our pantomime visit in January.
WOW! You spent a massive £1372.76 at the Book Fayre which ended yesterday. This will have earned us several hundred pounds in commission which we can spend on books for the library. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported us at the Book Fayre.
Thank you to all pupils, parents, carers and staff who supported the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal raising a fantastic £403.70.
Smiles all round!!! Miss Dyer accompanied 47 of our Y1 and Y2 pupils and some of our parents on a wonderful visit to the University learning all about teeth! They were lucky enough to spend a morning in an interactive theatre watching a film and having fun whilst finding out about how they can keep their smiles bright.

Due to poor weather conditions the Nursery Sports day has been postponed. We will let you know as soon as a new date has been arranged.
Just a reminder about the School Fayre this afternoon. Children can be signed out of class from 1:50. The fayre will start at 2:00. The sun is shining and we are looking forward to a lovely afternoon.
