Since 1907, Riverside Military Academy has produced young men of purpose, integrity, and character. We offer a traditional, American-style education where personal values, honor, and love of country still matter. Riverside is not owned or operated by any particular religious denomination, but supports the spiritual and educational goals of all families. Upon graduation, a Riverside cadet has experienced the challenges of the military model of education and is completely prepared for the rigors of college. He is poised, polite, and confident in any social environment. Riverside cadets stand tall, offer a firm handshake, respect authority, and display a level of confidence that parents may not have observed previously. Our graduating classes consistently receive millions of dollars in collegiate scholarships to attend prestigious institutions of higher learning around the world. Our Academy's small classes, individualized attention, and frequent accountability are a proven formula for success. We know that boys learn differently, and RMA provides structure, shorter class periods, hands-on lab activities, and freedom from distractions in the classroom. Riverside provides a learning environment that helps students succeed. Riverside Military Academy's JROTC program is affiliated with the U.S. Army. All cadets in grades 9-12 are required to participate in the JROTC program. Riverside Military Academy's JROTC program has been recognized as an Honor Unit with Distinction for over 80 years. Participation in a JROTC program does not require military service in college or beyond. However, students who are interested in military careers have been able to use their experience at our Academy to successfully obtain ROTC scholarships for college. As a HUD school, RMA has the ability to recommend up to 5 students to any of the Military Service Academies for the upcoming school year. RMA's Corps of Cadets participates in the annual Atlanta Veteran's Day Parade and has been consistently awarded the coveted President's Trophy for Best Marching Unit. RMA provides an overall competitive athletic department. We currently offer 13 varsity level sports. We also offer over 20 extra-curricular organizations and clubs for cadet participation. Because most students at Riverside reside on campus, the cadet experience transcends the classroom to reach into all areas of cadet life. Cadets from diverse geographic, ethnic, and social backgrounds live, study, and play together. RMA Brothers in Blue share an enduring bond connecting them to their classmates and to over 6,000 Riverside alumni around the world. Riverside Military Academy holds dual accreditation in SACS and SAIS.
