Situated across the courtyard from Nonno’s Foccaceria & Fiji East, it is a nice complement to the restaurants currently in place on the island. The Yin to Express Deli side’s yang will be the Bar & Grill Side. Open at 7am daily and 8am on Sundays for brunch the sit down lunch consistS of soups, burgers, wraps, specialty salads and a large variety of sharable apps. Chicken Fingers, Wings, Nachos, Quesadillas…you get the idea. Comparable to a T.G.I. Fridays or Applebee’s, the dinner menu at RiverWalk seems like it doubles the amount of food choices available on the island! Steak, Chops, Ribs & Pastas are all present here with all the sides to match. Let’s attack the two parts that make RiverWalk Bar & Grill up individually for a second. The deli side is open early, offers a casual eat-in counter and has salads, cold cuts and spreads to go as well as a complete menu of sandwiches. For the early risers, bagels, egg sandwiches, pancakes & French toast is available too starting at 6am. Grab your breakfast BEFORE heading into the city and save yourself a buck! Eating lunch on the island? No problem there either. Italian heroes? Got them. Turkey Clubs? Got them too. Potato Salad. Yes. Cole Slaw. Yes. Directions to Pier NYC Steps from the F train station on Roosevelt Island & Tram F train stops here on its way to and from Queens. The Roosevelt Island Tram carries commuters and joyriding tourists across the river several times an hour (the station-to-station trip takes less than 5 minutes). The Q102 bus makes a loop over the RI Bridge and back to Astoria, stopping at the Tram and subway stations and several other points on the Island.
