Owner Peter Whelan has over 35 years of hands on technical experience in the car, bike and boat industry and for over 20 years has been serving his customer's needs as the owner/manager of Road & River. Our premises consist of 5 vehicle hoists, separate motorcycle service & tyre-fitting areas, under-cover wash-bay, showroom, customer reception and waiting areas. There is onsite parking for short & long-term storage and a mezzanine floor area to store the 650+ motorcycle tyres. As a follow-on from establishing Road & River as the premier motorcycle tyre dealer in Geelong, Peter and his team have been appointed Husqvarna motorcycle dealers. Peter is a Vic Roads Licensed Vehicle Tester for cars and motorcycles, a Licensed Motor Car Trader, a member of the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) and has 5 years experience as an instructor at the Australian Superbike School.
