The Lee Academic Development Fund supports the academic programs of Robert E. Lee High School and provides opportunities for students to enhance their skills and educational experience with donations from alumni, friends, family, and staff of Lee H.S.
The Lee Academic Development Fund (ADF) was developed by a number of alumni looking to give back to Lee High School. Our education at Lee allowed us to enter the world with many gifts from academic knowledge that took us on to college and advanced degrees to vocational skills and trades that led us to successful careers right out of school. With the Lee ADF, we strive to create a casual and affordable opportunity for alums of all graduating classes, as well as faculty, administrators, and families, to reconnect with each other while supporting Lee High School. Donations to the Lee ADF go directly to the students’ academic needs. These funds open the door to a number of excellent educational experiences from trips to explore national history to advanced science classes to competition in national academic leagues. Other academic opportunities include SAT preparation classes, college visits, leadership workshops and more. You can learn more about specific programs supported with Lee ADF donations under the “What We’ve Done” page. The Lee ADF also seeks to help Lee students gain access to the educational trips and extracurricular programs of the magnet schools located on campus. The North East School of the Arts (NESA), the International School of the Americas (ISA), and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Academy (STEM) are great programs with opportunities above and beyond those of the average high school. Opening up these experiences to deserving Lee students will enhance their educational experiences and foster academic growth.
