RockHouse Live is located at the former FLASHBACKS (more recently TJ's Pub), and is Memphis' premier "boutique" live music and entertainment venue, featuring local, regional and NATIONAL talent (original as well as the region's best cover bands), an in-house DiscLive "instant" multi-track recording system, activities every night of the week, a full menu with amazing recipes (lunch and dinner!), and of course our RockHouse "Rock Chicks" and "Rock Chick Drink Slingers"! Imagine experiencing your favorite local and national artists up close and personal like you never have, while enjoying great grub and adult beverages served by the Rock Chicks, and hanging out with all your music loving friends! AND in addition to the interior facelift we have given the place (including our famous musician-friendly "RockHouse" stage - one of the largest stages in Memphis), we are installing new bright lighting around the building to make sure all our ladies feel safe and sound! BAND BOOKING REQUIREMENTS. RockHouse is proud to be booking and supporting only the best acts in the Memphis and Mid-south area. If you are interested in playing at the RockHouse, please submit an electronic promo pack to rockhouselive AT gmail DOT com. Please include links to your Facebook and Reverbnation pages (if you have one). You MUST be active in promoting your band, and be able to bring people in. We currently do NOT provide PA and lights except for national acts (although we plan on installing some Par cans etc). Our genres are generally rock, rocking country, etc. Other genres MAY be considered. Cover bands generally must have experience and a following, either personally through the band members and/or overall with the band. And, we MUST see you live before we agree to book, so please include a few upcoming dates so that we may come check you out. If you are an ORIGINAL band, we are also interested, for our all-original concerts we will be booking. Again, like our cover acts, you must have a good following and/or ability to pull to be considered (other than for "new music nights"). RockHouse Live is slated to open Aug 1st - we are a full bar and restaurant, so we are currently going through the licensing process. In the unlikely event we do not yet have our liquor and/or beer permits, other arrangements will be made so that we can still rock your asses on time! We hope you are as excited as we are!
