A home-away-from-home for families of children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth is built on the simple idea that when a family is focused on healing their child, nothing else should matter - not where their next meal will come from, or where they will lay their head to rest at night. When a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family can be just as powerful as the strongest medicine.

General Info

The House has 58 guest rooms with private bathrooms, each furnished with two queen-size TempurPedic beds. Families also have access to a complete kitchen with individual storage in refrigerators and in the pantry. The House has a courtyard-enclosed playset, game room, media room, meditation room and family room. Volunteer groups from all over the region prepare and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner to the families. In 2013, families of the RMHFW were served over 517 meals by volunteer groups.
