For the winter menu change we are keeping the flat iron steak but our question is... to go with the steak & our double cooked rooster tattie chips, what else would you like it to be served with? Sauces? Bearnaise, peppercorn, chimichurri or garlic butter On the side? Roast veg, steamed greens or oven roasted tomato, rocket & parmesan salad (or something else?)
So this be the week of the humble sausage! All week we'll be dishing up lovely bangers with the flavours changing as quickly as you eat them:) Starting off with pork & pancetta with carrot, parsnips, turnip, peas & beans & lashings of smokey bacon gravy. Autumn ain't all that bad:)
For Calvados week come & try this... Pork fillet medallions wrapped in smokey bacon served with a fondant tattie, sauteed Savoy cabbage & a Bramley apple & Pere Magloire VSOP Calvados jus:)
Just a wee heads up....the clocks go back 1 hour before the break of dawn on Sunday morning, so get your alarm set before you go to bed & you can enjoy that extra lie in this Sunday :)

This Sunday is National Bacon Day:) Start the day with our home bacon infused bacon vodka 'Bloody Swine'
So some lovely chap decided when refused a pint last night (politely) because we were shut (as it was 5 past 1 in the morning) decided to set our bins on fire:( Thanks to the speedy fire brigade who brought the fire to an end:) New bins being delivered today:) Hope you all have a great weekend:)
Hot Dog today:) We have smoked Bockwurst German hot dogs sandwiched in a submarine bun with caramalised onions, homemade relish & Frenchie's mustard. Also have a veggie alternative sausage too:)
Our 7th birthday falls on the World Cup final on Sunday the 13th of July. So to celebrate both we are will be screening the football match with the sound cranked up & having half time nibbles handed out which will be themed by the two finalists countries:) We'd love for our Rosey customers to come & join the fun:)
