ROYAL98 is an entirely new food concept in the centre of Amsterdam where Italian pasta’s, thin-crust wood oven pizza and freshly baked bread from the in-house bakery play a central role. Swissôtel Amsterdam is excited with the arrival of their new neighbours. The name ROYAL98 refers primarily to its monumental surrounding, namely the famous Dam Square as well as the historic Royal Palace. It goes without saying that the luxurious “Bijenkorf” Warehouse department store as well as the Beurs van Berlage stock exchange also shapes the Royal District which surrounds the restaurant. Moreover, the Amsterdam Central train station is ideally located within walking distance for the hotel guests, tourists as well as those working in the surrounding area. Breakfast will be served all day in the bakery section along with the fresh deli which is located in the front of the restaurant. Here guests of ROYAL98 can order different bread-types, smoothies, fresh salads and granola with the option of takeaway. Authentic Italian pasta along with freshly baked thin-crust pizza and Mediterranean cuisine will also be served in the restaurant. Enjoy signature dishes prepared by the innovative head chef on the sunny terrace or cosy up next to the open fire-place. We are open seven days a week. Binnenkort opent ROYAL98 haar deuren: een nieuw food concept in het centrum van Amsterdam, waar Italiaanse pasta’s, flinterdunne houtovenpizza’s en brood uit eigen bakkerij centraal staan. Swissôtel Amsterdam is bijzonder verheugd met de komst van deze nieuwe buren! De naam ROYAL verwijst met een knipoog naar de naastgelegen Dam en het Koninklijk Paleis. Maar de overburen mogen er ook zijn: Warenhuis De Bijenkorf en Beursplein 5. Het restaurant ligt tevens op loopafstand van Amsterdam Centraal Station, een ideale locatie dus voor hotelgasten, toeristen en medewerkers van omliggende bedrijven. Ontbijt wordt de hele dag geserveerd bij de bakkerij met deli-mogelijkheden aan de voorzijde van het restaurant. Hier kun je verschillende soorten brood, smoothie’s, salades en granola’s bestellen. In het restaurant kun je terecht voor Italiaanse pasta’s, desem houtovenpizza’s en mediterrane gerechten. Geniet van de signature dishes van onze chef-kok buiten op het terras, of binnen bij de open haard. We zijn zeven dagen per week open.
