Our educational objectives are to prepare graduates such that, within a few years of graduation, they have established chemical engineering careers in the petroleum, natural gas, chemicals, alternative energy, environmental, materials, or biotechnology industries, and/or have begun graduate studies in chemical engineering or related fields such as medicine, law, and business administration.

This Thursday, October 23rd, we are having a Blue Bell Ice Cream industrial tour. The tour is from 1-3pm, at 8201 E Hwy 51 Broken Arrow, OK 74104. Sign up and information is posted on the ChE computer lab door, room U316.
This Wednesday, October 22nd, Dan Summers from Sulzer Engineering Compnay is guest lecturing at TU. The meeting will be at noon in room U2, and a Chipotle lunch will be served.
Tuesday, October 7th, Dr. Shenoi will be giving a talk on "What did Stuxnet do to Iran's Uranium Centrifuge." The meeting will be in room U2 at 12:15. Subway lunch will be provided.
Tomorrow, October 6th, we have a chair meeting with Dr. Price. We will discuss department matters. The meeting will be at noon in room U2. There will be a free pizza lunch. All chemical engineering students are encouraged to come.

AICHE meeting with ConocoPhillips Alaska today!! Dr. Jennifer Harris gives a guest lecture of her experiences as a corrosion specialist. The meeting is at noon in U2, Keplinger hall. There will be pizza, drinks and desserts will be provided. Don't miss out and a good opportunity to learn more about ChemE and make new connections!
This Friday, February 13th, come meet a potential new professor of Chemical Engineering and enjoy free pizza! Dr. Geyou Ao will be speaking in room M1, starting at 12:00 p.m.
We have an AIChE meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon in room U2. Our guest lecturer is Mr. Alan Wilson from Oseco. Oseco is a Tulsa manufacturer of pressure burst discs. The company has worked with Mythbusters, supplying precision air burst discs for explosives testing! Mazzio's lunch will be provided.
We have an AIChE meeting this Thursday, November 5 at 12:15PM in U2. Rachel Naeger from DuPont Pryor will be speaking to us. Ms. Naeger is bringing a co-op intern with her. They work on site for approximately six months full time and the co-op student will have lots of valuable information for us students to learn from.
Tomorrow, October 29th, we will have a lunch and learn with Switchgear. Dixie Agostino will be speaking. Room U2 at noon. Lunch will be provided.
