Ruth's Maid service offers three types of service: Regular Cleaning All Rooms • Clean ceiling fans • Remove cobwebs • Dust furniture, decorations and pictures • Dust lamp shades (as needed) • Dust windowsills and ledges • Empty trash • Shake out or vacuum rugs • Vacuum floor • Mop floor if tile or (damp mop if wood/laminate) Bathrooms • Dust light fixtures • Clean mirrors • Clean and sanitize sinks and vanity top • Dust items on vanity Toilets • Clean/sanitize exterior of toilet • Scrub and sanitize toilet bowel • Wipe off toilet paper dispenser • Wipe off items on top of toilet Shower / Bathtub • Scrub the walls and floor to remove soap scum and mildew • Remove hard water stains and soap scum from glass door • Buff glass door with glass cleaner • Polish shower fixtures Kitchen • Clean backsplash and counters, making sure to move objects and wipe underneath • Scrub sinks to remove stains and dirt • Polish faucet • Clean inside and outside of microwave • Dust the top of the refrigerator and wipe down the sides of it • Wipe down all appliances, including the stove, outside of the oven and dishwasher • Shake out or vacuum rugs • Vacuum and mop floors Laundry Room • See "all rooms" • Dust washer and dryer • Clean utility sink Closets • Vacuum floor where space is available Detailed Cleaning Everything in Regular Service in addition to the following: • Dust baseboards (spot check wipe if needed) • Dust blinds and reachable air vents • Vacuum couches or wipe down leather furniture • Vacuum underneath furniture where reachable • Glass and French Doors cleaned • Spot clean doors, light switches and cabinets • Disinfect door handles Custom Cleaning This option allows you to customize the service to fit your needs.
