The Adventurer Group Enters Final Week Of Fundraising For Northern Alberta Fire Relief & Gets Closer To $500,000 Goal June 20, 2016 CANADA – In just three weeks, our 13 RV dealerships across Canada have collectively raised $371,915 for fire relief efforts in Northern Alberta. RVDA OF CANADA DONATES $5,000 TO RED CROSS IN SUPPORT OF THOSE AFFECTED BY ALBERTA WILDFIRES RICHMOND, British Columbia — The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Canada (RVDA) is supporting those that have been affected by the Wildfires in Alberta by making a $5,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to aid in relief and support efforts. “Our community includes all Canadians and as such, we found it important to assist those that are in dire need due to the fires,” stated RVDA of Canada Chairman Sam Parks. So many have lost everything and could be displaced for numerous months. We want to ensure that those affected receive the means to be able to rebuild and move forward.” The RVDA of Canada’s donation makes the collective contribution by the RV industry well over $60,000. Partners such as the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA), The Canadian Camping and RV Council (CRVC) and the Parks and Campground Owners Association of Alberta, RVDAs in Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia; as well as numerous dealers have all donated to the Canadian Red Cross for the relief efforts.
