Description

S'wing Cafe is Bendigo's newest social enterprise business that is a innovative sewing cafe in a little heritage house at 70 Garsed Street. We specialise in handicraft and handmade classes of every type but also have a cute handmade/retro retail collection, sewing machine hire, a rotating pop-up shop space, alteration/ironing service, delicious house made refreshments and beautiful locally roasted Coffee from our friends at Brewhouse Coffee Roasters. Our Studio is a ever changing pop-up shop facility available for hire and we also have a variety of mending, alternation and ironing services. We welcome all kinds of groups which makes us the perfect venue for your next event such as baby showers, hens parties and birthdays with specially designed programs, optional catering menu and themes. Swing cafe is a social enterprise division of Radius Disability Services, a local not-for-profit who have been supporting people with a disability in the Bendigo community for over 60 years. With strong mentors and quality training we develop our small team of supported employees in retail, hospitality and tourism skills as a revolving transition to open employment.
