Goals LDC is dedicated to the development, promotion and implementation of policies and legislation that represent and affect the Latino community. LDC advocates for Democratic values, progressive issues and candidates at local, state and national levels through a variety of mechanisms such as campaign consulting and training; community education and action; grassroots organizing; lobbying; and fundraising. LDC believes in returning the power of our democracy to our citizens and, as is envisaged in our constitution, a government of the people, by the people and for the people. LDC will promote the needs for education and economic development of the Latino community. Specifically the Club: Supports progressive Democratic Party candidates, with an emphasis but not limited to Latino candidates, at the local, state, and national levels through a variety of mechanisms, including, voter registration efforts, fundraising, candidate endorsement and campaign training; Supports and promotes progressive Democratic Party principles and policies through community education and action and grassroots organizing; Strongly supports working families and promotes the right to vote for all U.S. citizens; and Strives to maintain a strong and vibrant organization, rich in human and financial resources, to achieve the mission.

Only then can we start cleaning up the mess these self-serving politicians got us in.
