Sacriston Community & Victoria Football Club is a Community based club run for the Community by the Community. Founded in 2009 with just One team, today we have 15 teams playing across all age groups for both girls and boys, starting with our Development Team aged 5 up to our current under 14's and we are still growing...... Competing within the Russell Foster Youth League we have been extremely successful winning several league cups and gaining league promotions with many of our teams. Supporting our young players through the promotion of skills, excellence and good sportsmanship both on and off the field we encourage a strong work ethic throughout whilst still ensuring the emphasis on fun for all as a Happy Club means Happy Kids. One of our main achievments as a club was being awarded The FA Charter standard award. This is what we believe to be the first step into a big future for both young players wishing to learn and grow through football and for the club to be an inspiring part of the community. Another huge achievment for the club was securing a place in the FA Youth Partnership scheme with Sunderland Football Club, making us only the 7th north east team to be taken on board. The club now works closely with Sunderland AFC to help improve the way the players are developed at grassroots level.

A good start to the day with a 2-1 win sealed with an own goal after good Sacriston pressure. They all count!

A mixed morning in cool and murky surroundings. Lost 5-1 in the first game but battled back to a 6-2 win in the second game. Some bright play going forward at pace in the second game as a result of some sharp passing. Thought I was watching Ricky Villa in the cup final at one point. It turned out to be our equivalent, Felix! Well done boys.
