SALON Theatre creates fluid, flexible, portable theatre aimed at helping Canadians to examine their heritage, history and systems of government We are a small, Kingston, Ontario based arts charity that writes, produces and performs original musical theatre, in Kingston and across Canada. Our aim is to provide people with insight into Canada's past through a blend of fact, humour, music, and storytelling.
SALON Theatre Productions works primarily with young, talented, trained artists and managers -to further develop their talents -to provide them paid employment in their field -to create new theatre and related art works -to experiment with theatrical forms and related media -to build a theatre industry based in Kingston that creates content for export to other Canadian communities -to help Canadians, young Canadians in particular, to better understand their history, heritage and system of government
