I am a civil celebrant & member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I create & present unique wedding ceremonies, baby namings & vow renewals.
Hi! My name is Sam and I'm an independent civil celebrant. It is a privilege to meet my clients, to get to know them, and to create bespoke ceremonial experiences which honour life's milestones and rites of passage. People say that I am a warm and authentic person, with a professional presence. I enjoy writing, and have a background in communications. During the week, I head up a communications department for a social enterprise. Although I'm not religious, being a celebrant allows me to use a different, slightly more spiritual side of my creative skillset. I decided to become a celebrant after my sister asked me to officiate at her wedding. It was my first ceremony and I absolutely loved it. I trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I'd be honoured to help you with your ceremony - and welcome any questions you may have. Please get in touch for a no obligation chat.

It's going to be a busy autumn. Fortunate enough to have lots of wedding ceremonies and baby naming ceremonies to write for my lovely clients. I love meeting with them to find out their vision for their big day.
Excited to be doing a handfasting wedding this weekend in an organic orchard near Hereford, owned by the bride's family. Really hope the sun shines for them!
Looking forward to marrying Rosie and Annup, this Friday at St George's in Bristol. We've got a beautiful ceremony planned with a few surprises included
Had a very lovely meeting with Pip and Lou yesterday, who are planning a special ceremony in an organic apple farm in August :) they are a talented artist and architect team so the wedding will feature lots of handmade elements... Looking forward to writing the script over the next few weeks x
Thanks to all my lovely friends and contacts who have shown support for this page - it's really appreciated!! If you know someone who needs a celebrant, bear me in mind! Big love to you all xxxx
Lots of celebrancy work today - interviewing Nik & Mark for their wedding ceremony in July, and then writing a wedding order of service for my pal Rosie (I am officiating at her wedding to Annup in May!) - busy busy busy
