Description

During my life, I’ve had the opportunity of working in various careers of which 8 years were involved in banking and wealth management. Together my experiences give me a very unique perspective into working with individuals, families and business professionals and owners. My experiences uncovered that many people lack time, confidence and up-to-date knowledge when dealing with their finances or starting a sound financial program. And, often realize this fact later in life. I learned this lesson very well - Comprised within the word LIFE is “IF”: If only I did that.. If I had only started sooner.. Get the picture It’s vitally important you address the unpredictable and uncontrollable events of life, so you’re better prepared to weather the storms that might come along the way! We live in unique times • Financial turmoil and instability • Domestic and international debt • High or under unemployment • Global warming The effects of Not Knowing • What we don’t know we just don’t know • Not knowing can blindside us effecting our well-being • It can affect our health, impact our family and our financial situation Given our busy lives today, when we switch gears, multi-task or get an uncontrollable event or situation thrust upon us; we temporally lose focus; it impairs our judgments; affects our decision process and under extremely stressful situations we suffer the inability to make a decision at all. Should you feel my approach serves Your Best Interest or just interested getting a Fresh Perspective on whether you’re on track to achieving Your Dreams; I'd welcome an opportunity talking further in seeing if I may be a Valuable Resource for You as well....

FYI - FB friends many of you probably have children in post-secondary education. More often than not, those students have little or no income. If they’ve neglected filing their income tax and benefit return, they could be missing out on several credits, deductions, and benefits. Here’s a list from the Canada Revenue Agency. Public transport: Students might be able to claim the cost of transit passes as a non- refundable tax credit. Moving expenses: If a student moved for work purposes, including summer employment, they may be able to claim a deduction for moving expenses. Students may also be able to claim moving expenses if they move to take courses as a full-time student at the post-secondary level. Looking for more ways to save! Send me a e-mail sam.jonas@f55f.com & I'll forward you complete list!

Fellow FB friends, hoping this information below will Help anyone dealing with estate matters. Did You Know? Effective as of January 1, 2013 changes to the Ontario Estate Administration Tax Act (the “Act”) are being implemented which will elevate the obligations and the commensurate risks for individuals making an Application for either a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee with a Will or a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee without a Will. If you're Not Aware of it's impact; I'd suggest contacting your accountant, lawyer or advisor …? Some food-for-thought: Given our busy lives today, when we switch gears, multi-task or get an uncontrollable event or situation thrust upon us; we temporally lose focus; it impairs our judgments; affects our decision process and under extremely stressful situations we suffer the inability to make a decision at all. Should you require some sensible feedback; I'd be glad in exploring seeing if I can be a Valuable Resource for You!
